Models for your Faction- Ways to Build your Faction

The primary feature of The Genesys Project is that you get to design your own faction. You get to decide which miniatures you are going to use, what special rules will come with your faction, and how it plays. You get to customize your own faction.


There are four ways Ive seen people focus on and build their factions.
1. Based on existing miniatures they have or want to get
2. Based on the way they like to play.... (crazed berserkers, ambush heavy, big monsters or heavy tanks)
3. Based on a Theme or Narrative (Spartans, Mountain Dwarves, Wood Elves, etc)
4. Based on Rules and Concepts within the game

There is a wide variety of miniatures out in our hobby and in the Genesys Project you get to use these, customize to hearts content, and mix and match to make the army that you want. In the coming weeks we will be talking about some of these that I have talked to about their miniatures use in the game, and exactly what that will mean.The Genesys Project allows you to use the models you want to use.

However.... I know some of you have huge massive collections of miniatures already. Yes.... That means you already have an army ready to go for the Genesys Project. Just about anything that you see out there can be created in the Genesys Project and we spent a long time in the Open Beta listening to what models many of you have and looking at as many miniature companies as we could.

Essentially the Genesys Project is a ruleset designed to use just about any miniatures you can have or want to pick up. Once you do this... its just selecting traits and abilities that match the models you have.

So how long does it take to get an army ready for the game? If you have miniatures you are already good to go!
